Hot runner systems

Hot runner systems

Product description

Hot runner systems at their best

We offer you standardised, customised, balanced and pre-assembled hot runner systems. Heaters are embedded on both sides to ensure homogeneous temperature control. The even and high heat transfer and optimal channel routing make low-stress processing of the melt possible.

Quick availability of the hot runner system

The use of standard geometries (I-, H-, X- manifolds) allows for a short lead time. The nozzle positions can be individually determined within the framework of pre machined geometries. This in turn allows for maximum flexibility within the predefined limits when it comes to selecting the gating positions.

Uninterrupted production even when processing corrosive plastics

The use of a special high-alloyed steel ensures process reliability and maximizes the service life and availability of the hot runner system.

Design flexibility of the injection mould

Individually modifiable varioLINE systems guarantee you the same high performance as the standard range.

Rheologically favourable melt channel

As it is not possible to drill a melt channel around the corner, the hot runner manifold is divided into several plates to produce these geometries. This allows the milling process to take place in the split halves. The milled plates are then joined together again.

  • Due to the high surface quality, a material-shear friendly channel is created
  • The manifold closing technology prevents clogging and the so called ‘dead’ spots
  • The milled channel guide enables best flow characteristics
  • This also prevents material deposits in the melt channel for crystal-clear plastics or
    frequent colour changes
  • The streamlined deflections reduce the shear sensitivity and stresses in the melt
